The chicken rice was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and full of flavour.
The stir-fried prawns were fresh and well-seasoned, with just the right amount of wok aroma.
The noodle soup had a strong porky base, which might not be for everyone, but it was rich and comforting.
An excellent meal — great food, fast service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Singaporean flavours.

Very good food. Has a good variety unique flavours of Singapore food. Chicken rice is tasty juicy and tender, has pickle vege (uniquely Teo Chew style) to go with. Koay Jiap duck meat is good (no strong dick meat smell) and the soup tastes really good. CKT does not have the heavy Singapore style black sweet soy sauce but has very good wok hei. Oyster omelette is well made. The oyster does not have the fishy smell. Suggest to use the bank ATM opposite to take some cash and pay by cash, as there will be no weekend surcharge if pay by cash. Serving is generous and great value of money. Will come again and try other Singapore style dish such as 水粿,Mee Pok and Singapore fried hokkien noodle.

It’s a 3.5 for me.
Oyster omelette lacks the crisps and also oysters were overcooked (dry)
Hainanese chicken rice tasted alright, however, many other places in the eastern eating haunts make decent ones as well.
Singapore Hokkien mee is above average. I think this is probably the hardest dish to get right.
Kway chap is off. The soup base is too sweet and the rice sheet(sorry, mind blank now) is course, not smooth as one would anticipate.
Overall, them trying to stick to the relevant menu is a plus; unlike other restaurants that touted to be something and they sell everything under the sun.
Hope to be back and try the other stuff.
Keat Chiew
I’ve visited this place twice recently. The signature braised pork belly on rice was delicious—rich in flavour and cooked just right. On my second visit, I tried the signature prawn noodles, which were also very good—the prawns were fresh, and the dish was well-balanced. However, the chicken rice was a bit disappointing—the rice lacked of fragrance, and the chicken was just average.
Portion sizes are decent, and the prices are quite reasonable. I highly recommend visiting on weekdays, as it gets very busy on weekends.

I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. The chicken rice was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly with fragrant rice and tender chicken. My favourite dish, the carrot cake, was also exceptional, soft, flavorful, and prepared just the way I like it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere felt warm and comfortable, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to eat, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for tasty food and great service.
